Prior to Sun, Dr. Busch was VP of Engineering and Business Partnerships with Diba Inc, and was general manager of the Diba Division after Sun acquired Diba in 1997. From 1989 to 1994, Dr. Busch was co-founder and CTO/VP of Engineering of Clarity Software, and led creation of advanced multi-media composition and communication products for Sun, HP, and IBM computer systems (awarded Unix World Product of the Year). Andrew Kutz is widely considered to be one of the leading experts on x86 server virtualization, specializing in VMware ESX and the VMware Infrastructure (VI) Software Development Kit (SDK). Andrew is the author of the popular open source project Sudo for Windows (sudowin) and the VI client plug-in SVMotion. He was employed by the University of Texas of Austin for nearly a decade as a systems administrator and software developer before briefly working as an analyst for the Burton Group. Andrew then returned to the University as the Lead Application Architect for the McCombs School of Business. At the beginning of 2009 Andrew sold his company, lostcreations, to Hyper9 and currently works there as a Senior Research and Development Scientist. Andrew is also a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), a SANS/GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN) GOLD, and aVMware Certified Professional (VCP) in VI3.

Fermilab is a high energy physics research lab. Scientific Linux is produced to be a common platform for other High Energy Physics lab's around the world, as well as anyone else who wants to use it. Fermi Linux is currently a derivative of Scientific Linux that has been customized for Fermilabs enviroment. Troy has been at Fermilab since 1993. He has been working with Linux since 1999. He has been on the Fermi Linux team since 2001. He helped get Scientific Linux started back in 2004.
